Currently working as a Product Designer for Telstra, a telecommunications company based in Sydney, Australia. How can you be interested in design? Starting from the beginning, I used to do graphics and web work, but at a certain point I felt like I wasn't very creative. I couldn't do advertising or print work, those kinds of things. So I turned my focus to learning more about the technical side. Then when studying, I came across a subject called HCI or Human Computer Interaction, which is a subject that focuses on designing interactions between users and computers. When I studied it, it was very fun.
It's like it's a design that uses principles and reason. And most importantly, the results can be measured. Starting point for working in this career As I said, I went to study HCI, right? That's when I also learned about the UX Designer profession. Then I chose several other electives related to UX and I created a Port. So I applied for a job as a UX/UI Designer. At that time I was going to study for a master's degree in America. Then there will be a visa called OTP which is issued to students to find work for one year. I applied a lot and got a job as a UX/UI Designer for a small Software Consultancy company in San Francisco. Until now, I can say I've been working in this line for 8 years. What is the current work that you are doing? The project that I am currently overseeing at Telstra will be in the area of Self Service – Mobile Assurance.
